As an extension to ye olde word of mouth marketing which has been my mainstay up until now, I have just set up an Etsy store. Now to get to work to stock it. But first, a cup of tea of course....

Nothing more splendid than stomping through the woods and lanes at this time of year. So many beautiful colours all around.
Caught a glimpse of some early Christmas decorations in a hedge...Thank you Incy Wincy.

Just working on another illustration and really enjoying thinking about this special person while designing. It's a very absorbing pastime, especially when I drink the paint water and wash my paintbrush in my cup of tea.

OK so I went a bit mad in the woods. Crawled around under a few logs and all that jazz...
Its terrific in autumn. So much colour and change a foot, so many sticks to get caught in the hair, so many spiders to hide in the hood of your coat and so on...

Ruby in the Dust

Very bad at updates. However, I have just done a series of shoots for a lovely little theatre company;Ruby in the Dust.
This was a very talented group of artists coming together to create a wildly atmospheric adaptation of A Midsummer Nights Dream. Was brilliant to see so much concentrated creativity all in one spot.

Some challenging lighting situations. But this was helped by the light and shade of the drama.
Am now saving up for a nice new lens though...

Some rehearsal pictures here, check out the gallery for some more.....

A pocket full of Rye

What a lovely mysterious little place. we did lots of walks, stared at curios and ate assorted deliciousness.

The marsh is wonderful. Got carried away with a tree in a pond. Didn't manage a dawn or sunset due to lashing rain and wind but now I know where you are, I'll be back.
